Senior citizens

At New Life Baptist Church we have a passion in our hearts for the older person.

We have ministries aimed especially towards the Senior Citizens in our town, and we also provide transport when necessary - also for people with disabilities.

TAFFY
(Thursday Afternoon Fellowship For You)

We provide a mid-week daytime focus for all who are free at that time.
In the main these are folk of sixty-plus
but everyone is welcome to this relaxing hour of worship and fellowship

We meet Thursdays (alternate weeks to Food for Thought) 2.00 pm – 3.00 pm

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

FOOD FOR THOUGHT was launched on Tuesday 8th January 2002 – with great success!

It is held at the church - fortnightly on Tuesdays : 12.00 pm – 1.30 pm.

It includes a delicious hot lunch and fellowship, with a sing-song of traditional hymns, a short service and prayer and also occasional communion. Nominal cost of £2.

ELDERLY SERVICES

We have 4 SPECIAL SERVICES during the year especially for the Senior Citizens in our community. It is held at the church on the Sunday at 3.00 pm and a light meal is also provided.
