Statement of faith

We believe in one true God, eternally existent in three persons:
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit
God, the Father created all things.
His only Son Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, wholly God and wholly man. He lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our wrongdoing when he died on the cross in our place. He was buried and on the third day he rose again from the dead to be at the right hand of his Father. He is the only mediator between us and God; through his death and resurrection we may be forgiven for our wrongdoing and enter into a living relationship with God. We believe that salvation only comes through personal faith in Jesus Christ. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.
The Holy Spirit aids us to live out our faith by his power. He gives his charismatic gifts to individuals for the common good, equipping the believer for personal growth and service to the church. His power is life changing.
We believe the Bible is God-inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God, and as such is our “handbook” for the Christian life.
