New Life Ghana is a charitable project committed to the physical and spiritual welfare of children in Ghana.  The project links voluntary workers in England with Ghanaian partners working on the ground to care for the welfare of people in their communities.

We support the work of Pastor Osmond Osei Owusu and Pastor Gladstone in a rural area of Ghana to the west of the capital Accra.  Pastor Osmond grew up in Jamestown, one of the poorest areas of Accra, and has devoted his life to caring for the most vulnerable children and families in this area of Ghana.  We do not run the projects in Ghana, we provide the resources for our friends in Ghana to help people in the best way for the changing needs in their communities.  Teams of volunteers visit often to give practical support, share expertise, build relationships and inform our decision making.   Child sponsorship is one of the main ways that New Life Ghana fulfils its purpose.  Our sponsors contribute towards the fees of about 100 children who otherwise would not be able to attend school.  Their sponsorship pays for uniform, books, daily cooked meal and a health card.  Although the main focus of our support is the sponsorship programme, New Life Ghana is also involved in providing resources for mini projects closely related to the needs of the pupils and communities.  New Life Ghana works closely with NLBC to keep the church updated through presentations, services and regular newsletters.  Please visit our website if you would like to discover more about the project, our friends in Ghana and how to get involved.  We’d love to welcome you to the project!
